For the FW20 Brown: The No Colour collection the creative director of the Firm, Yolanda Pérez, has recovered this marginalized and punished colour, while reivindicating craftmanship. For the FW20 fashion show she focuses on the shade’s essence and positive qualities, and gives it a deserved aesthetic use.

Brown understood as the origin brings back the art of sewing. For Yolanda Pérez, creative director of the Firm, this colour helps her claim the knowledge of the trade and craftmanship. For her, the true knowledge is in the sewing procedure.

Through brown she also reivindicates the colour of nature, of earth, wood, furs, leather. Also copper, coins and jewels, status symbol of past civilizations. The origin and the end. The colour of warmth, of the honest, of the natural, the colour that brings realism. The colour of the origin and the end. The colour of warmth, recollection, and honesty. A shade that brings realism, stability and certainty. And that moves away from artificiality and nostalgia, and that moves away from artificiality and technological coldness

Reivindicating craftmanship has been one of the main purposes of the creative director for years. From the design to the final decorations, the whole process of creation of the Yolancris collections is done at the atelier of the Firm in Barcelona. As well as mastering and transmitting the knowledge to younger artisans, the future of the sector. Hence the various campaigns that the Firm has presented in the last years. The team photographic testimony, the Identity manifesto or the 2019 Bridal fashion show.
