Real bride Sara shares with Yolancris her testimony about her wedding day and wedding dress, how she met her husband and her most precious memories of her special day.

“My husband is Giulio, who is now a a winemaker, worked in a swimming pool where I trained for my swimming competition, and I worked in the gym where he did his workouts.

To get to know me, he pretended to be a swimming lover: everyday when he finished his shift he joined me and he swam a littl… It was when I fell in love with him and started dating that he confessed he hated swimming.

Fast forward few years, and we are getting married close to Lago di Garda, at Paghera Green Events, a big nursery (garden centre) with a lot of gardens and a stunning “pergola”, something like a tunnel with walls and ceiling of wistaria, where we had our wedding dinner.

THE WEDDING DRESS

I fell in love with Yolancris’ style since I saw one of the lace designs long before being engaged, so when it was my turn to get married I asked Revenge Atelier [a Yolancris stockist in Brescia] to find the perfect one for me!

I tried on a few dresses but when I saw myself in the mirror with the last one they showed me, I understood that was “the one”.

I’m a strong woman but my wedding day I wanted to feel romantic and sweet, that was shown with the combination of separates. The skirts, the lace shorts for the party… I had 4 different dresses in one! I loved it!

My fondest memories of my wedding in Lombardia are the letter I received that morning from Giulio and his expression while he was waiting for me at the altar. And the party: all the guests danced all the time (even Giulio’s grandma with heels until 2 a.m.!).”
