Earth, water, air & fire, captured in the Four Elements editorial for L’Officiel Australia

Christina Wilhelm stars at the cover and fashion editorial Four Elements for L’Officiel Australia, captured by the Portuguese photographer Élio Nogueira.

Earth, water, fire and air are the four elements of nature that the Portuguese photographer Élio Nogueira captures on the shores of his native country for the pages of L’Officiel Australia. Personified by the Danish LA-based model Christina Wilhelm, and represented by the styling of the editor and stylist Lauren Smith, Four Elements manages to capture the colorus and plasticity of the four archetypal energies that the pre-Socratic philosophers used to explain the patterns of nature, way of understanding the world that lasted through the Middle Ages until the Renaissance, deeply influencing European culture and thought.

With garments by international designers such as Armani, Dries Van Noten, Givenchy or Schiaparelli, also stands out the presence of the four Yolancris looks, designs that belong to the Pre-Fall 2020 and FW20 collections.
