One of the most relevant designers in prêt-à-porter fashion, Manfred Thierry Mugler, passed away on Sunday, January 23 at the age of 73.
His extravagant and hyper-feminized designs permeated the catwalks in the 80s and 90s, creating stagings full of fantasy and drama. Always available to his public, in 1984 Mugler decided to open the catwalk to everyone, beyond the select guests who had the opportunity to attend the show. As he himself stated, “fashion was something for everyone”.
