Read real bride Elena’s testimony about her 2020 vow renewal and her bucolic boho style wedding in Virginia, USA. “My husband Alex and I were married 10 years ago on an yacht in the Atlantic ocean near Florida Keys Islands. Coincidentally, we celebrated our anniversary this unusual 2020 year.”
“We wanted to make it special, but within the current reality. I imagined it all in my mind in a boho style, with many fresh flowers and pampas grass. Therefore my choice fell on a beautiful ivory retro dress by Yolancris.
The insanely pretty and delicate details, the weaving of patterns and the train of the boho style piece I chose made my heart beat faster. It sat perfectly on my figure.
As befits every bride, I kept the dress a secret until our meeting in the meadow. My husband was overwhelmed by my appearance. I also dreamed that our son Matthew could take part in the ceremony. He is not even three years old, but the baby responsibly led his mother down the aisle and held a box with rings.
We rented an old 200 year old mill in the small town of Fincastle, Virginia, and held a ceremony on a sunny Sunday morning in woodland near Forest Creek. We really wanted to share this moment with numerous relatives and friends, and some of them were with us in videocommunication.
It was unforgettable, and really exciting, just like 10 years ago. We anxiously held hands and exchanged touching vows. I am grateful to fate for this opportunity.”
