Of Persian origin, the word taffeta means "twisted fabric". Due to its weight and texture, it is a fine but rigid fabric, which maintains shapes and folds, allowing the creation of sculptural shapes. Its brightness is also characteristic, being one of the preferred materials for party and evening dresses. Available in black and more colours, this piece stands out for the draped asymmetric shoulder that ends in a large bow at the waist that hugs the silhouette, giving way to a pronounced A-line skirt.
