The Spanish house has presented during the Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week a collection inspired by Barcelona and Art Nouveau. More than 150 people have attended the call of the first fashion show of the brand in the capital of fashion.
On Wednesday January 23rd, coinciding with the Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week, Yolancris presented the SS19 collection
Opera Prima, that brings together all the artistic roots present in her home city Barcelona. Its iconic facades, its famous trencadís, its decorative arts and its fabulous imaginary world are present in each of the pieces of the collection.
Elements such as the colours of Palau de la Música – iconic Art Nouveau building in Barcelona, nature, asymmetry, organic motifs and feminity – as Yolanda Pérez, founder of the Firm, understands it – make this collection a presentation of the brand with the house’s own DNA.
Yolanda Pérez conceives each look as unique, in such a way that, although nude is the detonating colour, the volumes in stiff fabrics and the patchwork in impossible materials make this collection an elogy to Art Nouveau, presenting each one of the pieces with a harmonic movement, almost like the beat of a heart, a perfect pulse.
With more than 40 press accreditations, the fashion show has been witnessed by more than 150 guests and under the watchful eye of celebrities and influencers such as Inés Sastre, Marta Lozano, Minerva Portillo, Erika Santos, or Gloria and Chia Piscedda; of international publications such as Vogue, l’Officiel, Elle, or NowFashion; and members of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
